This release addresses the new compliance requirements for Alphanumeric Sender IDs (the "From" name) for SMS messages sent to France. French mobile operators now permit only plain Latin letters and digits, banning accented characters, spaces, and special characters. Sender IDs will be automatically adjusted before delivery to ensure compliance and preventing delivery blocks. Accented characters will be converted and disallowed characters removed. This applies to both transactional and marketing SMS. Clients wishing to use non-compliant Sender IDs can submit a support ticket.
