What's new
The automation editor now includes an event selector for SMS personalization. Choose data from any event in your workflow, just like you do for email personalization. This gives you more flexibility to tailor messages based on the most relevant actions your contacts take, making your SMS campaigns more targeted and impactful.
Some use cases include:
Enhanced abandoned cart reminders: When sending an SMS triggered by a "Checkout started", include data from “Cart updated” to pull the cart amount and show the real-time cart value.
Update customers on loyalty status in purchase confirmations: When sending an SMS with a shipping confirmation (triggered by “Order placed”), include an update on the customer's remaining loyalty points using an event “loyalty balance” to update customers on their new rewards balance.
