Why Brevo?

We joined forces with Brevo at the beginning of 2019. As one, we can expand our collective role as the European market leader in email marketing. Starting on 14 April 2020, the two companies are moving forward together under a single brand: Brevo. For existing Newsletter2Go customers, nothing will change. New customers can create a free account with Brevo immediately.

What will stay the same?

The Newsletter2Go software will remain unaffected by the rebrand. You can continue to use it as normal. We’ll still have the same office and Newsletter2Go team in Berlin. As always, we’ll continue to maintain the highest standards of data protection and maintain our servers in Germany.

FAQ on the rebranding

Why has Newsletter2Go become Brevo?

Brevo fully acquired Newsletter2Go GmbH’s shares in January 2019. This made them the European market leader in digital marketing.

Both companies share similar DNA and values. They are brought together by the goal of becoming a European market leader that rivals digital companies in the U.S. and China. In particular, they share a vision of offering the highest European standards for data protection and digital security to all marketers.

In order to expand our collective role as the European market leader, the Newsletter2Go brand has been merged with the Brevo brand.

What has happened to the Newsletter2Go websites at www.newsletter2go.com and www.newsletter2go.de?

While the Newsletter2Go software is still available for existing customers, since the rebranding, new customers can only register for a Brevo account. This is why we’ve also completely redirected the Newsletter2Go website to Brevo.

You can find the most important resources from the websites here.

Help articles: These can still be accessed here.

Tutorials: Our video tutorials can now be found on our YouTube channel.

Blog: Our English-language blog has been merged with Brevo’s blog at https://www.sendinblue.com/blog/ and the German-language blog can be found here: de.sendinblue.com/blog.

Where can I find the login for my Newsletter2Go account?

You can also log in to your Newsletter2Go account via our new website as usual. To do so, please go to this page.

What will still remain by Newsletter2Go?

Everything! Except for the brand name. We still have our office in Berlin and the whole team that formerly worked for Newsletter2Go.

Everything that matters to you is still the same:
Strict data protection standards
Servers in Germany
GDPR-compliant software at Newsletter2Go AND Brevo
German-language support and sales

Our email-marketing software will continue to be intuitive to use. All existing templates will still be there. You can still count on the reliability of our servers and our TÜV certification.

Will you still have German servers?

Yes, Newsletter2Go’s German infrastructure will remain completely intact after the rebranding. We will continue to guarantee the security of your data and your customers’ data.

Will I receive a new point of contact?

No, the team stays the same. Support and Sales are reachable in the same way as always. You can still send an email to [email protected]

Will the prices change because of the brand change?

The Newsletter2Go prices will remain the same after the rebranding. Nothing will change for existing customers. New customers can register for a Brevo account. Here are the details about the Brevo prices.

What are the benefits for me as a customer in this situation?

There are a ton of benefits for our existing customers. Starting on 1 April 2020, we’re offering support 6 days a week. On Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. our support team will answer support tickets via email.

What will happen to the Newsletter2Go software?

The Newsletter2Go software will stay exactly as it is. As an existing customer nothing will change for you. You can continue to use your account as usual. In 2020, we’ll be working on merging the Brevo and Newsletter2Go products so we can leverage the best of both worlds. We’ll let you know as soon as it’s possible to migrate your account from Newsletter2Go to Brevo. Until then, then only thing that’s changing is our name.

Will I have to sign a new data processing agreement (DPA) with Brevo?

No, you don’t need to fill out a new contract. Your initial DPA will still remain valid.

What will happen to the Newsletter2Go Academy?

The Newsletter2Go Academy is only available in German. If you have already purchased access to it, you can sign into your account for one year, until 30 April 2021, at the usual address: academy.newsletter2go.de. New registrations for the Academy will not be possible after 1 April 2020. We’ll be working hard to create an alternative for you by the end of 2020 with a top-quality Brevo Academy. This will cover all the same email marketing topics as the Newsletter2Go Academy and also introduce the Brevo software.

Can I try out the Brevo software for free?

You can register for a free account with Brevo any time at app.sendinblue.com/account/register. The free plan allows you to send emails to 300 recipients a day. If there is a specific function that you are looking for, please check out the various Brevo plans to find the one that fits you best.
